In 2017, I was an Obermann Graduate Fellow for publicly engaged research at University of Iowa. I am interested in exchanging knowledge with various sectors of society outside the university. As part of the Summer Studio Fellowship, I am partnering with the digital humanities staff at University of Iowa Libraries and with several Indian diaspora organizations in the Middle East to build a multimedia archive that portrays the everyday lives of Indians there who cultivate a dream to return to their homeland one day.
